Barefoot Boo Fest is just around the corner! Join us at Shindig Park for an afternoon of Halloween fun featuring the Haunt Around and a model home candy crawl. Come in your favorite costume, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy a Halloween adventure that’s more fun than fright. There’s something for neighbors of all ages to enjoy.

It’s that time of year again, and someone has stolen the candy from The Cove. We need your help solving the mystery and getting our treats back.

Put your detective skills to the test with our whodunit mystery, then stick around for music, sweets by the fire and more fall fun with your neighbors.

Howl-o-ween

Our pet costume contest is back. Bring your four-legged family members dressed in their Halloween best for a chance to win prizes and show off their personalities. We can’t wait to see the creative costumes and adorable looks our Barefoot pets bring to this year’s Haunt.

Model home candy crawl

The fun continues beyond the park. Once the mystery is solved, make your way to the participating model homes for a candy crawl filled with sweet treats and fun trinkets. It’s another chance to explore the neighborhood, meet fellow residents and enjoy a little magic along the way.

A great community grows when neighbors share their ideas, perspectives and passions. Barefoot’s committees give residents a chance to contribute to the community we’re building together.

The Social Committee currently has openings, and we’d love to connect with neighbors who are interested in getting involved!

The Social Committee is a place to share your thoughts, offer input and help create meaningful opportunities for residents to gather, build friendships and feel more connected to Barefoot.

Whether you have a passion for planning events, a fresh idea to share or simply want to play a part in strengthening our community, we’d love to hear from you.

Not ready to join a committee? There are plenty of other ways to lend a hand! We’re always looking for event volunteers, from teens looking to earn service hours to friends who want to spend a weekend giving back together. Whether you can help for an hour or an afternoon, every bit of support makes a difference.
