The school year is almost here, and we’re celebrating our young learners with a little Barefoot fun!

Back to School Bash

Tonight, Aug. 13 | 5-7 p.m. | The Cove

Join us for our Back to School Bash, featuring fun, hands-on activities inspired by favorite school subjects — with a playful Barefoot twist. It’s a chance to squeeze in one more evening of summer fun before backpacks are packed and school is back in session.

And because every celebration is better with a sweet treat, Sweet Cow will be joining us tonight during Food Truck Thursday with ice cream for purchase. Stop by The Cove for dessert and a little extra summer fun before the school year begins.

Help us start to wrap up another incredible pool season at our Final Float Fest on Saturday, Aug. 29, from noon-3 p.m.

All day Sept. 19, we’re celebrating creativity, community and all the things that make Colorado special with Barefoot Arts Weekend. The weekend will feature a community Chalk Walk, Art Day at The Cove, a Photography Contest, a Paint Recycling Drive and more.

Our theme: Colorful Colorado

In celebration of Colorado’s 150th birthday, we’re highlighting what makes our state special. From sports and outdoor adventures to wildlife, landscapes and everything in between, we want to see what you love most about Colorful Colorado.

Get involved

• Chalk Walk: Create your own Colorado-inspired masterpiece (basic chalk provided)

• Volunteer: Help bring the Chalk Walk to life

• Photography Contest: Capture what Colorado means to you

• Paint Recycling: Bring unwanted interior or exterior house paint for recycling
