The re-plastering project is finished, and we are putting the final finishing touches in place to create a safe swimming experience for the season ahead.

Mark your calendars and grab your floaties because pool opening day is Sunday, May 24! We cannot wait to kick off another summer at the pool with our Barefoot community. See you poolside!

Pool reminders

Let the gates do their jobs

Protect district property by keeping The Pool secure for all residents. Do not prop open pool gates.

Chairs can’t swim

Keep all pool furniture on the pool deck and out of the water. Throwing chairs or loungers into the pool can cause damage.

No alcohol permitted

Alcohol is not permitted within the pool area or surrounding amenities. Thank you for helping keep The Cove a safe, family-friendly environment for everyone enjoying the facility this summer.

Splash into Summer

June 6 | noon-3 p.m. | The Pool

Kick off pool season with an afternoon of sun, music, and community fun at The Cove! This year’s Splash Into Summer celebration will feature a live DJ, cannonball and belly flop contests, pool relays, popsicles, and activities for all ages.

It’s the perfect chance to jump in, make a splash, and welcome summer alongside your neighbors at Barefoot.

Hop on board

Lake season is officially making waves — Rocky Mountain Paddleboard is back at Barefoot starting this week! Enjoy paddleboard rentals, lake activations, and time out on the water all season long.

Rocky Mountain Paddleboard will be operating on weekends throughout the season, making it easy to get out and enjoy the lake with friends, family, and neighbors. Residents can also use the discount code Barefoot10 when booking rentals.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing paddle, a fun summer activity, or an evening on the water, it’s the perfect time to dive into lake season at Barefoot. Keep an eye out for upcoming activations and the return of Full Moon Paddle events throughout the summer.

Dock & pier reminder

As more residents head out to enjoy lake season, a few friendly reminders to help keep the area safe and enjoyable for everyone:

• The dock and pier are designated for watercraft entry and exit only

• Please use designated fishing areas around The Lakes and refer to the District website for a map of approved fishing locations

• Swimming in the lake is not permitted

• For everyone’s safety, please help keep pathways, launch areas, and dock access clear

Lemonade & iced tea bar | 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Cool off with refreshing lemonade, iced tea, or make your own summer mix at the coffee bar throughout the day.

Tiny art time | 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Get creative with watercolor painting, card crafting, and building your ultimate Barefoot summer bucket list. A relaxed and fun activity for all ages to enjoy.

S’mores happy hour | 5-7 p.m.

Gather around the fire at The Cove for a sweet summer treat with s’mores, cornhole, giant Jenga, and a casual evening of community fun.

Boards, bites & Barefoot nights

June 20 | 4 p.m.-6 p.m. | The Cove

Join Honey House Boards for a fun and flavorful evening learning the art of charcuterie pairing and design. During this hands-on experience, guests will create their own date-night-sized grazing board (in a box) to take home while enjoying plenty of delicious bites along the way.

From pairing tips to styling tricks, this is the perfect opportunity to gather with neighbors, get creative, and snack your way through the evening.
