July 4 | 8:30-10 a.m. | Waterside Park

Get ready to ride, celebrate, and show off your patriotic spirit at the Red, White & Bike Parade on July 4.

Bring your bikes, scooters, wagons, and festive flair as we cruise from Waterside Park to The Cove for a fun community celebration ending with a sweet treat — popsicles!

Decorations will be available the day of the event, but feel free to bring your own creativity and add some red, white, and blue spirit to your ride.

Event timeline

• 8:30 a.m. — Meet at Waterside Park for bike decorating

• 9:25 a.m. — Line up for the parade

• 9:30 a.m. — Parade begins!

• 10:00 a.m. — Arrive at The Cove for popsicles and fun

Grab your wheels, invite your neighbors, and join us for a fun Barefoot tradition.

Adventure awaits

Join us on the last Monday of the month — June 29, July 27, and Aug. 31 — from 3-4 p.m. for stories, crafts, and summer fun at The Cove!

This month's theme is Camping & the Outdoors. We'll read nature-inspired stories and enjoy themed arts and crafts designed for younger children, though all ages are welcome.

Sharing the trails safely

As more residents enjoy Barefoot’s trails, please help keep pathways safe and enjoyable for everyone.

All bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, and motorized devices must travel at a safe speed of 10 mph or less. Please slow to 5 mph or less when passing pedestrians, approaching blind areas, or when trail conditions require extra caution.

E-bikes (class 1 & 2 as defined by Colorado State law), electric scooters, and other motorized devices are permitted when following trail rules and speed limits.

With warmer weather and summer growth in full swing, now is a great time to take a quick look around your yard and landscaping areas for weeds.

Regular weed maintenance helps keep our community looking its best, supports the health of surrounding landscapes, and prevents weeds from spreading to neighboring properties and common areas.
