Snow Removal Information
As we move into the snowy season, we want to ensure all residents are aware of how snow removal services are managed throughout the St. Vrain Lakes community. Snow removal is divided into two distinct service types to best address safety and accessibility needs.
Service #1: Zero Tolerance Areas
Zero Tolerance Snow Removal
These areas receive snow removal and ice melt application regardless of snowfall amount. Crews will service these locations whenever snowfall occurs.
Zero Tolerance Locations:
- The Cove entry area sidewalk
- Fitness Center entry area sidewalk
Service #2: 2” Threshold – Post-Storm Snow Removal
(Walkways, Duplexes, and Parking Lots)
Snow removal for these areas begins once snowfall has stopped and 2 inches or more has accumulated.
Key Details:
- Snowfall is measured post-storm at three designated locations within the community.
- Once totals reach 2 inches, snow removal teams will begin clearing.
